Carlton and Margaret Sanders donated the Village Doctor’s Office
to White Pine Village in 1993. It was moved intact, but many hours
of restoration were required, once it was placed into the village
setting. Max Rahn and Stub Willick volunteered hundreds of hours
of time to restore the building.

The Village Doctor’s office was once located in Custer, Mi., and
housed Dr. Duguid’s and Dr. Blanchette’s practices in the early 1900’s.
The medical artifacts found in the office represent many area physicians
who have practiced in Mason County. A gallery of local physician’s
pictures has been started in the waiting room
