Volunteer Information

To volunteer, please print and fill out a Volunteer Form:  Volunteer Form.pdf

Volunteers are the “backbone” of the Mason County Historical Society and Historic White Pine Village. They provide the labor force that allows us to carry out our mission and purpose as an organization and as a destination site for thousands of visitors to experience history.

We believe that volunteers should come when they want to; do what they want to; and leave when they want to. With that said, we also believe that all of our visitors should experience the same friendly and interpretive atmosphere. We would encourage our interpretive volunteers, and others that work with our visitors to place a high priority on providing our 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. visitors with the same experience as our 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. visitors. Therefore, we encourage interpreters to stay as long as possible.
