Spring History in Action Days
This year our spring History in Action Days will be presented to school tour groups from across West Michigan on May 9, 16, 23, and 30. History in Action Days are special educational and fun-filled days, providing students with a chance to experience a village setting and visit our pioneer past. Visitors may watch a blacksmith fire up his forge, view cooking in the farmhouse kitchen, purchase a candy stick in the old General Store, see candles being made, learn about earlier medical remedies in the Doctors Office, and hear the sound of a sawmill cutting a log into lumber. Mini School sessions are held throughout the day in an authentic One Room School. Students and their chaperones will also have an opportunity to talk with interpreters at most of the over twenty-nine sites as they share their own insight into village life.

Don't miss these opportunities to visit Historic White Pine Village and provide your children and students an educational outing they won't forget. The Ice Cream Parlor and Gift Shop are always options for your visit. Reservations are required and can be made by contacting Historic White Pine Village at (231) 843-4808 or emailing info@historicwhitepinevillage.org
