This annual Concert featuring the combined sounds of the Pentwater Civic Band and the Scottville Clown Band is a popular summer event for local residents and visitors alike. The evening begins with a corn roast prepared by volunteers of the Mason County Historical Society that features fresh sweet corn, bratwurst, hot dogs, tea, pop, and ice cream. This is followed by an outstanding concert by the combined bands, usually numbering some fifty to sixty outstanding musicians. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket for your hillside seat and have an enjoyable evening of entertainment at Historic White Pine Village. The Mason County Historical Society heavily relies upon proceeds from this annual fundraising event and visitors and local residents have responded with excellent crowds in the past. But, there is always room for one more couple or family to join the festivities.
